Synopsis: Ki (Roma Gąsiorowska) is a young, unmarried mother who struggles to balance her parental responsibilities with the pursuit of self-fulfillment. Beautiful and vibrant, she receives a lot of support from other people, but does not seem to understand the give-and-take of all relationships, or appreciate the help offered to her. Absorbed in her problems and dreams, Ki appears unaware of the deteriorating state of her interpersonal relationship, or of her son’s growing needs. Will she recognize the immaturity of her perspective on the world before she alienates those with whom she shares it? Anchored by Gąsiorowska’s confident performance, My Name is Ki successfully engages its viewers even as it challenges their sympathy for its titular heroine.
