White Courage

Late 1930s in the Podhale region. Jędrek Zawrat, a talented mountaineer and descendant of a renowned highlander family, enjoys living on the edge. His beloved is the beautiful Bronka Skorus, but due to a family decision, her hand is given to the elder Zawrat brother, the serious and responsible Maciek. Proud Jędrek leaves his homeland to seek solace among Krakow’s bohemian circles. The war forces the brothers to make the toughest choices. They find themselves on opposite sides of a conflict that will determine not only their personal fates but also the future of the entire region.
