The Love Buzz

The Love Buzz (Polish: Miłość jak miód) is a warm, comedic romance directed by Maciej Migas.

The story centers on Majka (Agnieszka Suchora) and Agata (Edyta Olszówka), longtime friends now in their 50s, each dissatisfied with her life and navigating menopause. Majka, widowed and living by the Baltic Sea, runs a sweet shop and devotes herself to her family. Agata, recently single and based in the Tatra Mountains, is introspective and spiritually inclined.

When they unexpectedly reconnect at a funeral, they impulsively decide to swap lives. This role reversal forces each to confront her fears, prejudices, and hidden longings, leading to humorous twists, emotional reckonings, and moments of self-discovery.

The film is a laugh-out-loud celebration of friendship, renewal, and the idea that life can begin anew at any age. It was financed and commissioned by Telewizja Polska (TVP) with Akson Studio.
