LARP film takes viewers into the colorful and emotional universe of live-action role-playing — a hobby where ordinary people transform into knights, magicians, and warriors for a weekend.
Sergiusz (Filip Zaręba) is a quiet student whose heroic alter-ego dominates the fantasy realm but struggles in everyday life. When Helena (Martyna Byczkowska), a beautiful and confident new student, joins his class, Sergiusz falls in love at first sight. In the real world, he feels invisible; in his fantasy world, he’s unstoppable.
As their paths cross both in school and in the imaginary kingdom, LARP becomes a tender and funny reflection on adolescence, self-discovery, and the need to be seen.
A visually inventive debut that celebrates creativity, friendship, and the power of imagination — LARP bridges the line between make-believe and the search for one’s true self.
